Print Quality

The Fargo C50 uses dye sublimation and resin thermal transfer printing combined with a resolution of 300dpi. This creates sharp, vibrant images to ensure each print is of the highest quality. As well as this, the C50 is an edge-to-edge printer, meaning a thin white border is left around the edge of the card.

Printer Type

The Fargo C50 is a simplex printer, meaning it prints directly onto a single side of a card. The print from the colour ribbon is transferred directly onto the card through heat from the print head. As well as this, it covers edge-to-edge, so a thin whiteboard is visible around the outside of the card. 

Card Types

The C50 can print into CR-80 AND CR-79 adhesive back cards.

Print Volume

Best designed for businesses with a smaller demand for ID cards, based on a 35-hour working week, the C50 can produce 5,250 full-colour (YMCKO) cards a week.

Print Speed

The C50 prints one full-colour (YMCKO) card in 24 seconds or 150 full-colour (YMCKO) cards in an hour.

Connectivity

With its smart design, the simplicity of the C50 means it does what you want it to do. Including SwiftID uses your web browser to help you create custom badge designs without an additional printer driver. It is also available with USB or Ethernet connectivity so you can connect to both a network and a single desktop. 

Operating Systems

Standard USB/Ethernet ports and the browser-based Printer Manager helps you integrate printers into third-party applications as well as existing systems.
